Annie & Ed – A Cinematic Wedding in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire

Annie and Ed booked my Cinematic Package, which included full video coverage by me, alongside over 600+ beautiful photos delivered by James Hatter Photography. It was a proper team effort, and such a pleasure to capture their day.

The morning started at the stunning Missenden Abbey, where Annie and her bridesmaids were getting ready. The space had some lovely natural light – perfect for those quiet, reflective moments before everything kicked off.

Before the ceremony, we met Ed and his groomsmen at The Cross Keys pub on Great Missenden High Street. It’s an old, characterful place with lots of charm – the kind of spot where the natural light cuts through in all the right ways. We grabbed some relaxed shots of the lads having a pint and getting in those last laughs before heading to the church.

The ceremony took place at St Peter & St Paul’s Church in Great Missenden – a classic setting and a really moving service. Afterward, we took a short walk behind the church and found ourselves in some incredible fields. I spent a good half hour with Annie and Ed capturing those natural, cinematic shots – lots of movement, long grass, and some real golden light moments. It was laid-back, and they were completely in the moment, which always makes for the best footage.

The reception was just a stone’s throw away. Great food, heartfelt speeches, and a packed dancefloor as the evening rolled in.

It was such a pleasure to film Annie & Ed’s day – a beautiful couple, a great atmosphere, and everything just came together perfectly.
