Hey, I’m Alex.
A wedding videographer, photographer and fairly committed camera nerd.
I grew up in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, and I love making films and photographs that feel like the people in them. The big moments, the little reactions and the bits you might otherwise miss.

Music, cameras & a good story
A creative job, a personal approach
I’ve been filming weddings for around eight years, and launched Alex Green Weddings about three years ago. At the heart of it, I’m a creative who loves telling stories. And, honestly, I just really enjoy making things look good on camera.
Alongside weddings, I work in the music industry as a Head of Video, creating content for artists, products and campaigns. That world often means bigger crews, detailed plans and fast-moving productions.
Weddings give me something different: the chance to work on my own or with a small team, get to know a couple and build a story around a day that only happens once.
I love that balance. The attention to images, sound and the finished edit carries across, but the story always starts with the people rather than a production brief.
You don’t need to turn your wedding into a shoot. My job is to notice what makes it yours and bring that feeling into the finished work.

Your wedding deserves my full attention
Balancing weddings with my other creative work makes me intentional about how many I take on. I’m not booking 50-plus weddings back to back. I leave room to give each couple, each day and each edit the attention they deserve.
No two celebrations feel exactly alike. I want the finished photographs or film to reflect your people, your atmosphere and the moments that matter to you.

We’ll talk through your plans, priorities and any questions. I want you to feel comfortable with the person arriving with a camera.
At the wedding

I work calmly and discreetly, with a little guidance when it helps. You can spend your energy enjoying the people around you.
In the finished work

The edit should bring you back to your wedding, with care for the detail and the feeling rather than a formula applied to every couple.
Away from the wedding day
Camper vans, coastlines & mountain escapes
When I’m not filming, I’m usually finding an excuse to head off in my converted camper van. Cornwall and Wales are firm favourites, especially when there’s a chance to slow down and spend some time outdoors.
My girlfriend and I love heading for the mountains too. If there’s a skiing trip on the cards, I’m probably already thinking about packing.
The camera obsession doesn’t really switch off. I’m always tinkering, trying something out or wondering how to get a better image. It’s a job, but it’s also very much who I am.
