Alex Green, wedding videographer and photographer

A calm presence behind the camera

Natural wedding videography across Hertfordshire

Hey, I’m Alex. If you’re getting married in Hertfordshire and want a wedding videographer who keeps things natural, calm and unobtrusive, you’re in the right place.

I create cinematic wedding films built around emotion, atmosphere and story, not staged moments or forced poses. I blend in, let the day unfold and capture how it genuinely felt.

I take on a limited number of weddings each year, so every couple receives clear communication, careful planning and a film edited personally around their day.

I’m based nearby in Buckinghamshire and travel throughout Hertfordshire, including St Albans, Watford, Berkhamsted, Hertford, Ware and the wider county. Any travel relevant to your plans will be clear before you book.

Looking for both? My photography and videography package gives you two dedicated professionals who work together regularly, booked through one point of contact.

A considered Hertfordshire venue guide

Exceptional Hertfordshire wedding venues

Hertfordshire offers everything from grand historic estates to intimate barns and landscaped country houses. Architecture, natural light and the way guests move through each setting can all shape the rhythm of a wedding film. These are six venues I would be delighted to capture.

The grand entrance of Ashridge House near Berkhamsted

Berkhamsted · Hertfordshire

Ashridge House

Ashridge House brings dramatic historic architecture, grand interiors and beautiful formal gardens together in one setting. An Ashridge House wedding video could move from quiet preparations to a spectacular ceremony and evening celebration without ever losing its sense of place.

Brocket Hall surrounded by Hertfordshire parkland

Welwyn · Hertfordshire

Brocket Hall

Brocket Hall is set within 543 acres of parkland and offers several distinct spaces across the estate. The Georgian house, lake and sweeping grounds would give a Brocket Hall wedding film an elegant scale, while its interiors provide atmosphere in every season.

Hatfield House and its landscaped Hertfordshire grounds

Hatfield · Hertfordshire

Hatfield House

Hatfield House combines Jacobean architecture, historic courtyards and expansive gardens close to London. The contrast between its grand exterior and characterful celebration spaces could make a Hatfield House wedding video feel richly cinematic without becoming formal or staged.

Knebworth House in its Hertfordshire parkland

Knebworth · Hertfordshire

Knebworth House & Barns

Knebworth offers an ornate historic house, formal gardens and barn spaces within 250 acres of parkland. That visual range could give a Knebworth wedding video a strong opening, relaxed outdoor moments and a warm, energetic evening sequence.

Fanhams Hall and its formal gardens in Ware

Ware · Hertfordshire

Fanhams Hall

Fanhams Hall pairs historic country-house rooms with formal gardens and outdoor ceremony options. Its changing textures, natural greenery and intimate interior spaces could give a Fanhams Hall wedding film variety from morning preparations through to the dance floor.

Micklefield Hall in the Hertfordshire countryside

Sarratt · Near Rickmansworth

Micklefield Hall

Micklefield Hall combines a Georgian manor house with a 16th-century barn, orangery, temple and rose gardens. The mixture of historic and light-filled spaces could make a Micklefield Hall wedding video feel varied, personal and naturally connected throughout the day.
