Getting married at Hedsor House

Hedsor House is a private Georgian country house in Taplow, Buckinghamshire, set within 100 acres of parkland. The Centre Hall, Ballroom and gardens bring different settings together in one estate.

The scale of a country house makes a striking opening to a film, but it’s the smaller moments that make it yours. An exchange of glances during the vows, a parent’s reaction and the first rush onto the dance floor deserve just as much attention as the setting.

A little thought before the day

Planning a natural Hedsor House wedding film

Three things to consider when building your wedding-day timeline.

The Centre Hall at Hedsor House01 · THE CEREMONY

The Centre Hall: keep the moment intimate

Hedsor’s Centre Hall has a domed ceiling and mezzanine balcony. I’d plan camera positions around your ceremony layout, keeping guest sightlines clear and recording the vows with dedicated microphones rather than relying on room sound.

The Ballroom at Hedsor House02 · THE SPEECHES

The Ballroom: give speeches breathing space

The Ballroom is used for the wedding breakfast. Agree when speeches will happen and let your film team know about any surprises. A little preparation helps capture both the speaker and the reactions around the tables.

The Dutch Sunken Garden at Hedsor House03 · THE PORTRAITS

The gardens: take a short pause together

The Dutch Sunken Garden offers a setting for couple portraits. A short, unhurried walk can give your film a quieter moment between the celebrations. I’d coordinate this with your photographer and the light on the day.

Relaxed from the first conversation

Elegant setting. Relaxed storytelling.

A formal setting doesn’t mean your wedding film needs to feel formal. I look for the spontaneous conversations, the laughter between photographs and the atmosphere building through the evening. You can enjoy the day while I pay attention to the details.

Beforehand, we’ll talk about your priorities, family traditions, music and timings. Whether your plans are intimate or full of activity, that conversation helps me shape a film around what matters to you.

Before you book

Hedsor House wedding videography FAQs

How would we plan the filming before our wedding?

We would review your timeline, the people and moments you want to remember, and your ceremony arrangements. I’d coordinate access and filming positions with the venue team so the practical details are organised before your day.

Can we choose you as our Hedsor House videographer?

Send me your date and the coverage you have in mind. We can talk through your plans, then coordinate with your venue contact about supplier requirements, access and timings. Your venue booking and your videography booking are separate.

How much does wedding videography cost?

My Highlights Package starts at £1,800 and Signature Film Package at £3,000. Visit my packages page for current inclusions, or send your date and plans for a personalised quote.

Can we book photography and videography together?

Yes. The combined package brings together a dedicated videographer and a dedicated photographer with one booking. Each person concentrates on their own role. It starts at £3,600; your quote will confirm the team and coverage.

Can you film the ceremony and speeches in full?

Yes. Full ceremony and speeches films are included in the Signature Film Package. If you prefer the Highlights Package, ask about adding them. We’ll confirm your deliverables in your quote so you know exactly what you’ll receive.

Will we need to spend lots of time posing?

No. I work quietly around the day, capturing people as they are. A short walk together can give us room for couple footage without turning your drinks reception into a long filming session.

Can you include drone footage?

Where safe, permitted and suitable for the conditions, aerial footage can add context to a wedding film. Flying depends on the location, permissions, weather and airspace restrictions, so it is never guaranteed.

How do we enquire?

Send me your wedding date, Hedsor House as your venue and a little about your plans using the form below. I’ll reply with availability and the package options that fit your day.
