Engagement shoots are a chance to slow things down a little — no timelines, no pressure, and no expectations. Just the two of you, being yourselves.

I offer relaxed engagement photography, engagement films, and proposal coverage, captured in a natural, unobtrusive way. Whether you’re celebrating an engagement, planning a surprise proposal, or simply want something meaningful before the wedding day, these sessions are about genuine moments. I’ll spend some time with you after getting some potraits of you both so you can remember the moment.

An engagement shoot isn’t about recreating a wedding day — it’s about capturing connection. We’ll choose a location that feels right (somewhere meaningful to you, or somewhere quiet and beautiful), keep things simple, and let moments unfold naturally.

There’s no forced posing or over-direction. I’ll guide you when needed, but most of the time you’ll just walk, talk, laugh, and forget the camera is there.

You’ll receive a carefully edited gallery of images that feel timeless, honest, and personal — perfect for save-the-dates, wedding websites, or simply keeping for yourselves.

Engagement VIDEOGRAPHY

Short cinematic films that capture feeling, not performance

Alongside photography, I also offer engagement films — short, cinematic videos that capture movement, emotion, and atmosphere in a way photos can’t.

These films are subtle and natural. Think gentle motion, real interactions, natural audio, and music-led storytelling — not staged scenes or scripted moments.

Engagement films work beautifully on their own, but they’re also a great way to feel more comfortable being filmed ahead of your wedding day.

Discreet coverage of the moment SHE says “yes”

If you’re planning a proposal, I can quietly capture it as it happens — either through photography, video, or both.

We’ll plan everything in advance:

• Location and timing

• Where I’ll be positioned

• How to keep it a surprise

• What happens immediately after

I’ll stay completely out of the way, allowing the moment to unfold naturally. After the proposal, we can take a few relaxed portraits while the excitement is still fresh.

There are only a few true once-in-a-lifetime moments, and Alex captured ours with an artistry and sensitivity that exceeded every expectation.


Alex is an extraordinary photographer - talented, intuitive, and genuinely gifted at preserving authenticity. He captured our moment so beautifully - every emotion, every tiny detail - while somehow remaining completely hidden. When he came out afterward and offered to take some couple’s photos, he brought this incredible balance of presence and invisibility: guiding us when we needed it, but also giving us the space to be ourselves. It’s a rare gift to be able to preserve the authenticity of such an intimate moment without ever letting the camera disturb it. You can actually see in the photos how connected, comfortable and in-the-moment we were. That’s the kind of atmosphere Alex creates.

On top of everything else, having both a video and those breathtaking photos means the world to us. I cried during the proposal…and then I cried again every time I re-watched the video. I’m already dreaming of framing the photos in our future home - which doesn’t even exist yet!

I cannot recommend Alex enough. His artistry, his gentle presence, his instinct for timing and emotion, and the way he edited every shot to feel exactly like the moment itself - natural, cinematic, and dreamlike - are all beyond anything we expected.
